Each year, Share Some ROC Love celebrates the people, businesses, and creativity that make Rochester special. Hidden baskets and giveaways bring joy, but at the heart of this project is a deeper commitment: strengthening the community we love.
That’s why, starting in 2025, each season will highlight and support a local nonprofit whose work uplifts Rochester in meaningful ways. By inviting the public to join us in giving back, we can spread joy not just through surprise gifts, but through real impact.
Whether it’s helping local families, supporting our creative community, or providing resources to those who need them most, our Community Giving Partner program allows Share Some ROC Love to extend beyond holiday fun and contribute directly to a stronger, more connected Rochester.

'25/'26 Community Partner
We are proud to partner this year with The Free Art Collective, a Rochester-based organization dedicated to removing financial and physical barriers to creativity. Their mission is simple yet powerful: to make art free, accessible, and available to everyone. Free Art Collective believes that creativity is a form of connection, healing, and empowerment. Their work includes providing free art supplies, hosting community workshops, supporting emerging artists, and offering inclusive creative spaces where people of all ages can explore, express, and belong.
Why They’re a Perfect Fit for Share Some ROC Love
Our project has always celebrated Rochester’s artists, makers, shop owners, and creative spirit. The Free Art Collective embodies that same love for local creativity, ensuring that everyone, regardless of background or resources, has the opportunity to create. By supporting them this season, we are collectively helping to fuel Rochester’s artistic future.
How You Can Help
Throughout the holiday season, we invite the community to support Free Art Collective through their donation wishlist. Every item, from brushes and paper to paints, tools, and supplies, helps equip local youth, community programs, and emerging artists with what they need to create.
You can support The Free Art Collective by sending items to them from their Amazon Wishlist (it will send to the proper address when you use the list), or you can purchase items from their wishlist below and drop them off at Boulder Coffee and Lounge (100 Alexander Street, Rochester).
